Sadly, our English Springer Spaniel, Hanna, died suddenly of a heart attack a few months back. She was only nine years old. We miss her dearly. We decided to channel those feelings of sadness into becoming foster parents for rescued Springers. Our first foster child is named Buddy. He is seven years old and was rescued from an animal hoarder's (continued below pictures)..
home who had 27 dogs. Since being rescued, he has been shuffled around from shelter to shelter. He always slept on concrete, never got outside for more than 20 minutes per day and was always kept in a cage.
Imagine how happy he is to sleep in bed with us. He is not used to it and falls off the bed a lot when he stretches. We catch him most of the time and pull him in closer. He needs so much love and has so much love to give. He is doing very well with our cats. We have only had him for a little over a week and we love him.
